1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Gemlords, operated by SIA “Gem Invest” (hereinafter “Gemlords,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and Gemlords regarding your use of our website (www.gemlords.com) and purchase of our products.

By accessing or using our Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Returns Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Website or purchase our Products.

2. Public Offer & Definitions

This document constitutes a public offer (offer to enter into a contract) under Article 1090 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Latvia. Your acceptance of this public offer occurs at the moment you complete the purchase on our Website.

  • “Website”: www.gemlords.com and all associated pages.
  • “Product(s)”: Gemstones, jewelry, and related items offered for sale on the Website.
  • “Order”: A request made by the Customer to purchase Products through the Website.

3. Products & Pricing

All Products featured on the Website are genuine natural gemstones and fine jewelry. Descriptions, images, and specifications are provided to the best of our knowledge. While we strive for accuracy, minor variations in color and characteristics may occur due to natural properties of gemstones and differences in device displays.

  • Pricing: All prices are displayed in Euros (€). Prices are subject to change without notice, but your order will be honored at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
  • Taxes: All prices include applicable Latvian VAT (21%) for EU customers. Non-EU customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by the destination country.

4. Ordering & Payment Process

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are an authorized user of the selected payment method. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to Product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

  • Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfer. Payments must be completed before order processing begins.
  • Payment Processing: We use a secure, PCI DSS certified payment service provider to process all online card transactions. We do not store your sensitive payment information.

5. Delivery, Shipping, & Risk Transfer

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. Shipping methods and delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. The risk of loss or damage to the Products is transferred to you upon confirmed delivery by our shipping carrier to your specified address.

  • Shipping Methods: DHL, FedEx, or other insured and traceable mail services.
  • Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout based on destination and order value.

6. Returns and Refunds

The return of Products is governed by our separate Refund & Returns Policy. In brief, EU consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the contract. Custom-made or personalized items are generally not eligible for return. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, subject to inspection and verification.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Gemlords and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Latvian law, Gemlords shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Products or Website. Our total liability for any claim related to the purchase of Products shall not exceed the purchase price paid.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia.

10. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Chargeback Policy

In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, we encourage you to contact our customer service team at info@gemlords.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will provide all necessary documentation to our acquiring bank to resolve the dispute.
