This policy outlines the security measures and payment procedures for all transactions conducted on Gemlords.com. It is provided in compliance with the requirements of our acquiring bank partners and International Payment Systems (IPS).

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We offer our clients two secure methods of payment:

  • Online Card Payment: We accept secure online payments via Visa, Mastercard, and other debit and credit cards. All transactions are processed in Euro (EUR) through our trusted acquiring bank partner. The name of the merchant on your bank statement will be SIA “Gem Invest” or Gemlords.com.
  • Bank Transfer: For your convenience, we also accept payments via SWIFT/SEPA bank transfer. Upon placing your order, you will receive an invoice with our company’s bank details. The order will be processed and shipped after the full amount is received in our bank account. This is an ideal option for international clients or high-value purchases.

2. PCI DSS Compliance

Gemlords.com does not directly handle, store, or transmit your sensitive cardholder data. The entire online payment process is managed by our certified payment service provider, who is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. This ensures that all your payment information is encrypted and protected by the highest industry-standard security measures.

3. Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)

To enhance security and prevent fraud, all online card transactions are protected by 3D Secure technology (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, etc.). This may require you to authorize the payment through your bank’s mobile app, an SMS code, or other biometric verification methods, providing an extra layer of protection for your transaction.

4. Fraud Prevention

For your security, we reserve the right to manually review and verify any transaction that is flagged by our automated fraud detection systems. This may include high-value orders or unusual transaction patterns. In such cases, a member of our team may contact you to confirm the details of your order before processing the payment and shipment.

5. Payment & Transaction Details

  • Transaction Currency: All prices and payments are processed in Euro (EUR).
  • Minimum Order Value: The minimum order value on Gemlords.com is EUR 100.
  • Authorization & Capture: For online card payments, your card may be authorized for the transaction amount at the time of purchase. The final charge is captured only after the order has been successfully confirmed and is ready for processing.

6. Refund Policy for Card Payments

All refunds for card payments will be processed back to the original payment card used for the transaction. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card or via an alternative payment method. The refund will be initiated within 5-7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected. Please note that the time it takes for the funds to appear on your bank statement may vary depending on your bank’s policies.

7. Data Security and SSL Encryption

Our website utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of your personal and payment data during the checkout process.
